WHEE!! lol just back fm the Student Leader camp!.. actually not just back la.. ytd already came back but too tired to blog..
the camp is quite a nice one.. esp that at night the chalet got aircon,television,fridge and a oven sia.. downstairs also got stove and a toilet with water heater..
day one: i came at around 7.15am.. then went up to the ava room for briefing. alot of ppl came late. which will give quite a negative impression of them lol.. but can make up to that during camp.. so after intro.. we are seperated into our groups.. and i'm in group 3..(which will prove to be a good thing later:) ). so all of us moved on to Cdans..
sat at the basketball court.. and we all moved to one side to create our group cheer and flag.. i was with the portion what was creating the group cheer.. and yes we created this cheer.. its not lifted from anywhere or what:D it goes "we are the X! X... we are the 3! 3!.. we are m-e me......... oooooh! X3ME....
and the name very meaningful one ok.. the x dunno come from where.. 3 is our group number.. and me is when we think.. x3 and me! so its x3me.. ok the ice is starting to melt then.. the flag also quite well done..
first day wasnt really exciting.. we were not really bonded together.. and thanks trainers for their concern..cus i got hit in my face at the start of the camp lol.. and at 12.40am there after 20 min of sleep they woke me up to check on my eyes.. sorry i dint say thank you cus i was very blur and confused at that time..
day 2.. this is where the fun begins! woke up fresh and early.. eager for the activities.. after breakfast was urban amazing race! took a looong bus ride to kallang there.. then we aassembled infront of the old supreme court.. the grass patch.. there we recive the quiz..
which was completed in 10 seconds flat.. then we received the clues..so we tried to decide to go to the elephant sculpture first.. there we shouted our main cheer and answered the question"why was this elephant built... and what it represented?.. then we were off to the big bird.. but dunno how to go! how sia.. then we saw got some policemen.. so we went up to him and asked.. he wasnt sure.. so was his colleage.. so we thanked him and continued.. asked another person then we finnaly know the direction.. lol lucky:P but we walked the long way.. and wasted some time thou.. but its ok.. the question there was "whats the weight of the bird" which was like.. 18782500 or smt like that lol then we moved on..then we moved on to the esplanade there.. dam far sia.. but first we stopped by at the merlion.. and we all answer the question.. "how old is this merlion" answer is 35... then shout cheer then moved on to esplanade.. there got task.. rub the black part of oreo on your teeth and go around.. when 3 ppl notices it and ask you why(without prompting them) you pass.. we were dam lucky and met a group of tourist fm hong kong.. and we took 4 photos with them! lol with our unevenly black coloured teeth!.. then one guy asked the very holy question.. in cantonese then the other 2 tourist also asked us! we were barely 3 min into the adventure! then we moved to arab street.. there we had to ask for the cheapest pricing for a carpet.. which was $5.. thats really cheap... then went to kallang there.. did another quiz.. which has a 3x3 box and you got to make fm all directions add up to 15..this was slower but we did it anyway..then we moved to padang outdoor stadium to the west entrance where we met with our first failure.. we're supposed to un entangle our selfs but did not succeed.. then was dragon boating.. dam fun!.. and i brought my phone in too =D din spoil also haha we go in.. then reverse out then go out into kallang river.. its quite dirty la.. but we just continued.. then they taught us how to pedal all that.. which is tiring like mad! then there was war!!!.. use pedal spray water on the rest.. and we had a pail.. which i used it to scoop water out of boat..
and then i used it to pour water on the attackers boat lol.. sabo them.. and i pour alot of water onto the other boats members. so fun.. and when instructor say at ease.. i continued "pumping" water out of the boat.. then we went back to school.. alot of ppl slept on the bus.. and back at cdans.. we had campfire preparation and then bathe.. this part shows our sense of urgency.. we all ta poh bathe as fast as we can.. then the char bo was washing hair in basing.. showing the urgency.. and teamwork =D then we continue practicing..
campfire.. getting high already.. voice 80% gone.. we saw the groups perform and the newspaper dance was dam funny la.. when the newws paper was folded until so small then ah hao joined.. with 2 big pieces of news paper lol.. then the dance began.. i was videotaping the whole newspaper dance.. then he was dancing for the camera sia LOL.. really funny!..
then its our groups turn.. the dance seriously is very very very very very fast.. and we missed alot of steps and eventually forgot the last part.. so christine was saying "aiya! anyhow la!" then we were into mindless shaking mood LOL.. just moving around and finnaly it ended..
it was the end of the campfire and we all had debrief.. and we had reflections time.. i videoed this whole thing(i will only send it to the group members and no one else) and our dear ah mah took up 7 min of the whole video lol.. it was dam funny too.. for some reasons this is the best group i ever been in and i will never forget them.. and of course our dear instructor eunice..
day 3.. boys woke up dam dam late.. 7am and was suppsed to assemble with everything packed by 7.30am... the night of partying is shoing the effects now.. then we rushed and got to the basket ball court in time..and our flag got taken by ah hao.. but he later returned it.. then eunice wanted us to say sorry.. and put me and kim incharge of it.. so we changed the "we say thank you" song into "we say sorry" and he accepted it.. then we had breakfast and also annoucing of posts and the winning group.. we were very very nervous before they announced the winning group.. but i got a feeling we would win.. and YES!! we won! was dam happy!.. they gave a flexible water bottle costing $16 dollars.. then they announced th posting.. everythings so unexpecing..
i'm very very very glad and honoured to be in this group.. all 14 of us opened up.. and we had fun and learned alot.. X3ME ROCKS FOREVER!!!
