Well, did'nt post when i came back because tired. Ok here goes.
Day 1 of USA tour : Long haul airplane flight sounds nice like sittin on an airplane going around 900km/h with good service from the steward and the stewdardess. But theres more to it than that, firstly, its very boring. The movies not nice to watch as the screen so small?! and if the person infront of me incline his/her chair, i would not be able to see clearly cus i'm too tall -.-. Second thing, i dont know why but when the air plane is touching down at Japan's airport, i got this sudden and SUPER sharp pain in my molar. I was like WTH?! Lol later my mum ask for the pain killer which dint really work. The pain was so sharp that i cried a little. So i thought it was tooth decay, ask my parents if reach usa can go there find dentist.
When the plane touched down at Los Angeles, the pain was mysteriously gone, and for the rest of the tour. after checking out of the air port, our tour guide (a very nice guy) brought us to our bus. Their buses is not like what i had in mind. Its a very big pick up truck without a flat bed but the cabin is there. Not a very big bus (when i stand up left about 2 or 3 cm to the roof) but it was very powerful lol.
We continued on to our hotel for 3 days, the Wyndham Hotel. After that was free and easy. So we went to look around the hotel. all the buildings are around 1-2 stories high. Way different from Sigapore. At the supermarket named "Target" my family started to feel hungry. So we hastened up our shopping and then went to a fast food restaurant named In & Out. It was drizzling and the temperatures were very low. the food at In & out is pretty nice. Cheaper then in Singapore the carls' junior. We went back to hotel after dinner. Then was around 7pm. After an hour jet lag set(jet lag means because of the time difference in Singapore and USA your biological clock needs to invert cus in singapore day is night to usa) in. so i slept at 8am, woke up at 1.30am. lol what the heck? Virtually everyone in the tour is awake.
Day 2:Awake at 1.30am and not feeling sleepy, I watched TV. Just nothing better to do. Breakfast will be bacon, scrambled eggs, sausage and pancakes or french toast.
After that we went to Disneyland =D. Haha we all sat so many rides and i cant remember all. Only the more memorable ones. One of them is the Twilight Zone. Pretty nice story plot. Then when you sit on the elevator the lift will go up about 5 story then the door would open showing you some ghastly figurines. the suddenly the lift drop about 3 stories then shoot all the way up to the top level then drop down again lol. Quite scary but i made it :) haha. Another is their roller coaster ride. You get strapped into your sit. the roller coaster then moves to a flat track. Some one will do the dount down. Then suddenly woosh 5 seconds of very hard accleration to around 100km/h. Shooting up to the first hill, then down you o round and round until you go a very very high hill. you can see the whole of Disneyland from the top, but only for a second or so then you go down the hill that one dam scary. Its like weightlessness for a full second or so. After that you go 360 degrees then come back to the station. Lol thats one hell of a ride. The Ferris Wheel there too. We sat on the "moving"cabin. It sloly goes up. then suddenly the whole cabin roll backwards. swing about 50 degrees. Coming back was scary lol. Some where late after noon there was one "High School Musical" parade lol. Interesting how they perform. They stand on a vehicle facing side wards and got the "High School Musical" bill board behind them. By that time, we got ready to wait for the parade which was at 6pm. By 5.30pm the sky is totally dark already. The parade start. Its more of the Christmas type of parade. The performers wear the Christmas style clothes.
Day 3: Universal Studios hehe this is where all great movies are filmed. Haha the whole tour group sat the tour around universal studios. I must say its like dam big, the land is already like singapore size haha. They got about 50 sound stages, each around the size of vivo city lol. Inside is where they can do what ever they want to film a movie. And there are the out door stages too. Theres the street where Bruce ALmighty was flimed. And btw there a sequal to Bruce Almighty, forgot the name thou. The special effects are of top notch. During the tour around universal studios, the tram occasionally goes into these special effect stages. First was that you go into this stage.. theres kin kong shaking the bridge that we are on.. quite nice.. king kong looks quite real too. Second was an out door one.. they tell us how they make rain when they need it. And flash flood too. lol. Interesting to see them release thousands of gallons of water down a slope haha. There was a rainbow for the second thou. Another was in a sub way tunnel(Singaporeans know it as MRT)then suddenly got earthquake. Then on the left of the tram a vehicle from above suddenly drop lol. Looks so real. Then it can reset itself after that lol. Another is the boat refill station. Suddenly BOOM lol. Fire everywhere. Very nice lol. Then nearby it a diver fell into the lake. Then got shark. They strugge a while then later got red colour dye coming out lol.After that we go to the airplane crash site. The indeed took apart an airplane just to create the site. The airplane aparrently "crashed" into a neighbour hood. The wrecked cars and houses are nice. Then its the end of the tram tour. excellent experience haha. After that we sat a ride, named "Mummy:The Ride" seems like quite scary. When you sit on the roller coaster they strap you in DAM tightly. So we were thinking like its gona be dam scary. But not that bad. first you go foreward. Then got those picture like you run into the mouth of the devil then before you go in, you stop then it reverse. Not as scary as we anticipated. After that we sat the Jurassic Park water ride. Only the last part scary. You are about to be attacked by an dinosaur then suddenly you drop down a slide lol. Then hit the bottom of the slide and everybody is wet. After that we went out of universal studios and then went to shop on a street beside it. Lol so colourful and vibrant. They got almost everything there. But after a while it time to go back to the hotel. What a tiring and wonderful day.
Day 4:Las vegas! haha the place where almost all the casinos are. The hotel that is going to be my home for the next 2 days is "The Stratosphere". beautiful structure. On top of the building where all the guest live, is a very tall tower, around 112 stories tall. its $6usd for a 34km/h lift ride up. Up there the view is spactacular. there are some rides on top of the tower too. But i'm too scared to sit them lol. my family took the optional night tour. was dam nice. We watch the volcano at "The Mirage" very nice. Was told that it coast $5000usd just for one show. i think thats for the gas used durin the "eruption". After that we went to watch the musical fountain. The nozzles in the fountain will dance with the music. and i cant imagine the amount of water pressure needed just to run all the nozzles. The ending was spactacular. The gets shot the water around 60metres into the air lol.
Day 5 Valley of fire: Its in the desert lol. Luckily now winter not so hot. The rocks are spactacular. The colour and the shapes. I keep climbing to the top of most rocks haha
Day 6 Grand Canyon: a very nice scenery, espcially after the previous day snow haha. Looks so majestic. Its also one of the seven wonders in the world. temperature was around 0 degrees celsius with wind gusts(yes very powerful wind so much so that when it hit me i move.)
day 7 San Francisco: woot lol nice city espcially from the Twin Peaks hill. At san francisco theres a gay/lesbian street and flag lol. Weird stuff, the fla is a rainbow coloured one. Those whose window is haning a rainbow colour flag means married gays/ lesbians.
